Year 7-8
This is a biennial camp that focuses on developing our middle school students outdoor skills. The last camp was held in Bannockburn, just out of Cromwell in 2006.
  Activities include:
- kayaking
- abseiling
- fishing
- swimming
- gold mining
- sailing
A fun camp that emphasises:
- Team building
- Co-operative skills
- New challenges
- History of Central Otago
Year 9-10
An outdoor education experience that is held in December each year at a local camping area.
 Activities include:
- canoeing
- river safety
- mountain biking
- sailing
- orienteering
- rifle shooting
- swimming
- fishing
- campcraft
There are specific personal development objectives for the students. They are encouraged to develop themselves through outdoor education in the following areas:
- self organisation
- group co-operation
- learn new skills
- care for people, equipment and environment
Year 12 Tramp
This is held every year and involves a 3-4 day tramping experience in some of the South Island's most beautiful scenery. Students will be able to gain NZQA credits from future trips. |
