Year 7-8

This is a biennial camp that focuses on developing our middle school students outdoor skills. The last camp was held in Bannockburn, just out of Cromwell in 2006.

Activities include:

A fun camp that emphasises:

• Team building
• Co-operative skills
• New challenges
• History of Central Otago

Year 9-10

An outdoor education experience that is held in December each year at a local camping area.

Activities include:

• canoeing
• river safety
• mountain biking
• sailing
• orienteering
• rifle shooting
• swimming
• fishing
• campcraft

• self organisation
• group co-operation
• learn new skills
• care for people, equipment and environment

Year 12 Tramp

This is held every year and involves a 3-4 day tramping experience in some of the South Island's most beautiful scenery. Students will be able to gain NZQA credits from future trips.
